You cannot close a healthcare facility to do air conditioning work, so the job was cut into sections small enough that the department could work around each one.
Temporary screening kept dust out of the occupied side. Filters were upgraded where the room use had changed since the original install.
Everything noisy happened outside clinical hours, and each section was cleaned and handed back before the next was opened up.
